SMELL THE COFFEE

 
It's January! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I am not one to say I have resolutions but I always know there is something I will have to do. It could be something I have been putting off like going to driving school or something I have been dreaming about like going to Paris and visiting la tour Eiffel. Either way, I always end up doing something! Have I said something enough yet? Okay then!

I haven't been writing a while now and it all seems to drag me quite a bit. You see writing is the place where I go to somehow make up for the inadequacies that life has. It is where I can have a car and  big house. that is the place where I can have that dream job and escape the rattle of the snake that is temptation to indulge in what I will most definitely end up regretting. Mostly it is where I live the fantasies that I have.

I have this book where I write down my poems and stories. I have been meaning to publish them for the longest time now but I just can't get myself to doing it. I don't really have a reason as to why I can't do it just yet. Hopefully, it is one of those things I get to do someday but I will not promise that it's gonna happen this year. However, I have started my driving classes so yaaay!

Anyway, it's time to wake up and smell the coffee. It's a brand new chapter in your life and yes I know that you have heard this a million times before and you are probably rolling your eyes saying 'cliche' but I'm still gonna say it; Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Are you gonna keep going at it like a zombie or are you gonna wake up and smell the coffee? Live your dreams!
