Through the many years(or few depending on who is reading) that i
have been on this earth, I have always wanted to be right, to do right, not to go against my word or let people down. I always did my homework on time, attended school every day and never made noise in class. I was never to be found in trouble even though I was very playful and then I grew up! Now all I want to do is not do what people want me to, be my own person and stop worrying about letting others down because after all they always let me down. I cannot however understand why i just can't do all those things!!! There is one thing however that I have learnt to do and that is to let go. I have learnt to stop trying to mend every broken chain when it keeps getting pulled from the other end. I have learnt to take carefree moments just like a baby who does not understand the meaning of stress. I have learnt to work with the little that i have to make a heaven down here. I do not hold back when it comes to making myself happy, I do not hold back when it comes to appreciating my friends and family. I have learnt that i am surrounded by AWESOMENESS and all I gotta do is take a moment to appreciate it, to take it all in.Tonight i hope that the moon shines bright through your window, I hope you can take a moment to look out and appreciate that it shines. I hope that you can stop, breathe in, breathe out, smile and say I am awesome! I hope you can see the little things in life that are otherwise invisible when we rush or tense.I hope you can take a moment to whisper a prayer before you sleep, I hope you can take time to appreciate the little things that life gives you. I hope you can remember to smile at a stranger and share the sunshine within you, I hope you can make the world a better place for you and for me! :-) I hope you can learn to let go and experience a moment of carefree laughter and happiness like a baby smiling at a flying bee not aware of the danger it poses but amazed at the beauty and its ability to fly.
